Nohara
Glenn'G Festival 2025
Nohara’s sound is a late-night city drive soundtrack – melancholic melodies punctuated by the pulse of the machine. This electronic artist, a purveyor of emotionally resonant soundscapes, crafts tracks that blur the lines between downtempo electronica, ambient house, and a touch of introspective techno. Early releases built a quiet buzz, but the EP "After Dark" (2021) proved to be the catalyst. Its textured layers of synth pads and hypnotic rhythms found a receptive audience online and secured Nohara a spot on several coveted chill playlists. Nohara's music finds its strength in restraint, a quiet rebellion against the maximalist tendencies of contemporary EDM. Instead, Nohara builds immersive environments with subtle shifts in sonic texture, fostering a sense of contemplative introspection. Collaborations include work with rising lo-fi beatmakers and featured vocals from indie artists seeking a more atmospheric backdrop. Recently, Nohara unveiled the single "Drifting," hinting at a forthcoming album exploring themes of isolation and connection in the digital age.
